The torii is in the lake biwa. Torii is a gatewat at the entrance to a japanese "shinto" shrine. If you want to drive around the lake biwa, I recommend "Kogan Road". You will meet many remains of japanese history.

This torii is a gateway to entrance "Shirahige (White beard) Shinto Shrine". This is the 16th centur, and set up in the lake.

This is a large bridge of the lake biwa.
