JR west Japan bullet train (Shinkansen) types500"NOZOMI"
Types500 "NOZOMI"is the fastest train in the world. "NOZOMI"super express takes from Tokyo to Hakata (in Fukuoka 1176km) only 4hours49minutes. These trains run 300km/h in San-yo-Shinkansen(shin-Osaka/Hakata623.3km). But in Tokaido-Shinkansen(Tokyo/Shin-Osaka552.6km) "NOZOMI"run only 270km/h, because Tokaido-Shinkansen is the oldest Shinkansen line (since1964).Nobody think Shinkansen run 300km/h at 1960`s people.

JR central Japan (tokai) bullet train types700"NOZOMI" "NOZOMI"is known very fast train. New age bullet train types700 was developed by JR central Japan cooperated with JR west Japan. Recently Japanese bullet train`s front design are very unique. Because Shinkansen ran fast and through many cities. This design does not to make loud noise. Types700 nicknamed "Monster of sneaker"etc.

JR east Japan bullet train typesE1 Max This bullet train (Shinkansen) is double decker. That runs Thohoku/Joetsu- Shinkansen.It cost person much money to live in Tokyo City (Tokyo City`s land prices is too high).So many people live in the suburbs of Tokyo, and they commute from Takasaki or Utsunomiya to Tokyo by the Shinkansen.

JR east Japan types205 (Yamanote line) Yamanote line is the ring around Tokyo City. Many people use this line. This line through many Tokyo terminal stations, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Shinagawa and Tokyo. Every morning and evening commuters use private railway company (Seibu, Tobu, Tokyu, Keio etc)or other JR lines and change trains at these terminals Yamanote line. Types205 is made from stainless metal. So silver body with railway line-color is types205`s uniform.

"Eidan Hibiya line types05"

"Eidan"is the metro in Tokyo, and Hibiya line go from Nakameguro through Roppongi,Otemachi to Kitasenju. Hibiya line lies between Tokyu Toyoko-line and Tobu Isesaki-line. So trains trough these line (from Kikuna to Tobu-Dobutukoen).

Keihinkyuko (keikyu) types2000 (original style) Keihinkyuko is a line from southern Tokyo through Yokohama to the Miura Peninsula.Types2000 were a romance car and a star of Keikyu but after types2100 appeared, types2000 was renewaled commuter's train. When I took this photo, weather was snow and very cold day.

Hakonetozan-railway"MOHA1" Hakone locates west area at the Kanagawa-Prefecture, and famous of hot spring. Hakonetozan means climbing Mt.Hakone. Mt.Hakone is called "Tenka-no-Ken". That means very hard to climb this mountain. This old style train goes 8%(when train go 100m, that train climbed 8m height) and radius 30m curve. So these trains are very careful of brake system. Trains have 4types brake system.

Ensyu-railway types30

Ensyu is the name of western Sizuoka Prefecture area. Ensyu-railway is lie from Hamamatu City through Hamakita City to Tenryu City (Shin-Hamamatu/Nishi-Kajima 18.5km). 30type is the oldest train types in Ensyu-railway. This photo is my first railway photo.

Nagoya City subway Turumai-line types3050 Nagoya City subway is famous of small size tunnel and short size train. But Turumai-line is normal Japanese train size and there is not third rails, and there is electric catenary. Because Turumai-line and Nagoya Railway trains through each other. Nagoya city subway trains run from Toyota-shi (Nagoya Railway Toyota-shin line) through Turumai-line to Iwakura (Nagoya Railway Inuyama line).

Hankyu types3000

Hankyu is a railway company in Osaka. All Hankyu train`s body color is maroon. So railway fans are difficult to tell one train type from another one. But commuters and funs love this color. When Company try to change train`s color, commuters and fans opposed this plan. This maroon color continues 90years!

Hanshin types8000

This company is the parent company that Japanese professional baseball team "Hanshin Tigers". This team is very popular among the people who lives in Osaka. This company`s train body color is separated express service and local train. Express one`s color is red and local`s is blue.

JR central Japan types383 Limited express "SHINANO" "SHINANO"run westTyuo-line(Nagoya/Nagano). As Japan is a mountainous country, there are many sharp curves on Japanese railway. Pendulum train can run fast on curves because those train`s body lean on curves."SHINANO" directs Nagoya and Nagano about 2hours. "SHINANO" can run faster than highway bus.
