For Driving SUV on Racing Track
You don't need to buy any special materials, but should get ready at least as below.

- Items with You to Racing Track -
- Helmet
- Racing groves
- Plastic tape
- Air gauge
- Air pump
- Certificate to join
- Map
- Stationeries
It is not necessary to take all the above items. Comfirm the rule you will join. FYI, at the programs held by YRS, you have to have a helmet and racing groves, but tapes are unnesessary.

- Make Sure These Points -
1. Until one day before
- Get necessary items ready after reading therule book.
- Check your car if any troubles are with. The brakes are important especially for heavy RVs. Is it OK with thebrake pads? You should be better to sometimes exchange thebrake fluidor to take the air out of the fluid. The fluid with DOT 4 or 5 is better.
- Make your car aslightas you can. RVs are very heavy even if you take nothing out of it, so let off any items you don't need, and put necessary items on the position that you can let off quickly at the circuit. And also, think about the volume of the gas.
- Select tires with not too strong gripping power because your car would roll sideways while turning. Of course, no problem with original ones of your car.
- Check the route to the circuit. Youshouldn't rushinto the circuit, or it will adversely influence your time or safety on the circuit.
- Go to the bed early.
2. Before leaving home
- Check your caragain. Is it OK with the air in the tires?
- Leave home asearlyas possible.
3. Just before driving on circuit
- Let off unnecessary items, spare tires, tools, and so on, on the fixed space.
- Check theair pressure of all the tires, with 0.1 kg higher for each.

4. During driving on circuit
- Drivesmoothlyfor your all handling with the car, whick is the best way to drive RV on circuit every professional driver recommend.Masuoka Hiroshi, who actually won the first place in Paris Dakar Rally 2001, stressed that he did as smoothly as possible when he drove his own Pajero on Fuji Speed Way.
- "Smoothly" means"carefully". We are often said that we must not do rough handlings on the snow road, and it is the same meaning on this. It will be better to handle everything a littele slowly.
- Use2/3-speed held. You don't have to change the shift so often on most circuits, and it can let you concentrate on other handlings.
- Understand that your car is slower than others. It's no use for you overtaking any sport cars. Care about your followers, and as soon as it catches up you,let it overtake you.
5. After driving
- Check theair pressureof the tires just after driving. How are they compared to the ones before driving? It is normal that they are higher, but is there higher one than other 3 tires? The heaviest burden is with the tire. If it is a circuit with right rotation, the left front tire is the one with the highest pressure, and if with left rotation, it is a right front tire, but anyway, smoothly driving gets lower burden.
- Make the same air pressurewith all the tires again ready for the next session.
- After getting home, rotate the tires. It is the best way to exchange if you find extremely worn-out tires, but if not so much, put the worn-out tires to the rear or spare.
Advise me your good ideas.
